intumescent Paints

Intumescent Paints

Used primarily for structural steel fire protection and is spray applied directly onto beams, columns, sections and trusses.

Intumescent paints are considered the lightest form of passive fire protection. An Intumescent is a coating that, when exposed to heat, is rapidly transformed through sublimation and expands many times to form a stable, carbonaceous char, providing a highly effective fire protection solution for your building.

Ignis Assured Construction specialise in the application of spray applied paint and thin film coatings for steel, increasing the fire rating of the structure and maximising the time occupants have to evacuate in the event of an emergency.
